THERAPEUTIC SERVICES: Located on the grounds of the
Brattleboro Retreat, the school is an independent VT-accredited
school. Typical student-teacher ratio is one teacher and one aide
for every eight students which allows for highly individualized
educational support. Curriculum meets the educational, clinical
and behavioral needs of the students and the requirements of VT's
educational standards. All credits are transferable to the student's
home school.
THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION: The teachers and staff are
part of each student's overall treatment team. Daily communication
between Meadows and the student's program unit helps to integrate
academics with clinical and behavioral treatment.
