Clinical Psychologist

The Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Program in the Outpatient Psychiatry Department at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston is seeking a full-time cognitive-behavioral psychologist. The position will involve clinical work with a diverse range of patients. The focus will be primarily on affective and anxiety disorders but may involve medical and psychiatric comorbidity. Our preference is to hire one full-time psychologist. However, we may be open to hiring two half-time psychologists.

Applicants should have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program and have completed an APA-accredited internship, be licensed in Massachusetts, and have a strong background in CBT. The position will involve primarily clinical work but may offer some opportunities to be involved in clinical research projects. This job involves an appointment at Harvard Medical School and additional responsibilities may include supervision of psychology trainees and psychiatry residents and teaching seminars.

Adjunct Faculty, School Psychology Program, 2009-2010 academic year

The Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology is seeking a part-time instructor for its M.A./CAGS School Psychology Program. Courses to be taught are (1) Statistics and (2) Research Methods and Program Evaluation, which meet on Monday morning from 9:30am-12:30pm in the Fall 2009 semester and the Spring 2010 semester, respectively. Participation in faculty meetings and other school functions is expected. A doctorate in School Psychology or a related field, prior graduate teaching experience, and familiarity with K-12 education are highly preferred.
